I am a product of adult education courses in Watertown and Waterbury. I did study with Ray White at his studio in Plymouth, but basically I am self taught.
My style is impressionistic realism. I'm always striving for a looser style and a more painterly approach. I am a work in progress! I love farms, streams, woodlands. My years visiting Cape Cod show up in many water scenes in my paintings.
There are so many scenes to be painted and so little time! If my paintings can make you forget the troubles in the world for a while, I feel I have accomplished my goal.
