John Pytel
Photography serves many purposes. It is a means for recording history, but also a great venue for personal expression. Ten people can take a photograph of the same subject and come up with ten different results, much like a piece of music that can be interpreted differently by each individual that performs it. A photo reflects as much about the photographer as it does the subject matter. Being a musician by trade, I have never been a professional photographer. I do it for the simple joy of taking a picture, with the hope that one of these days I’ll “nail it”, and produce an image that speaks to all who view it.
