Patricia Ward
Patricia is a self-taught artist whose journey into the world of art began while looking for artwork to decorate her retirement home. Searching the internet for abstract art led her to the field of acrylic paint pouring. This is a brushless technique for creating art on a canvas that has been described as part science and part magic. She then expanded her craft by learning to paint still life scenes and pet portraits on top of acrylic pours. Currently she is studying traditional landscape painting, mostly by watching YouTube videos that are taught by established acrylic artists. She is delighted to be a member of the Ten-2-One Artists group and hopes to learn more about producing fine art from this very talented group of artists. In addition to paintings hanging in the Crescent Gallery, her artwork is on display at Noujaim's Bistro in Winsted.
