Bob Brophy
Bob is a life long resident of the Plymouth-Thomaston area. He has been active in many local art groups. He has studied with Watertown artist Julie Hickcox in oil, watercolor, and acrylic. At the moment acrylic is the medium of choice. Much of his work centers on local landscapes and architecture. His favorite subjects are old cars and trucks left to rust away. His paintings are always shown at the Crescent Gallery 158 Main Street, Thomaston, CT.
Bob is a retired elementary teacher in Region 10 with graduate work with art education concentration. Although he never was an Art teacher, his classrooms were always alive with many “Art” projects.
