I am a landscape artist who also likes to draw or paint structures. My favorite is to paint portraits of pets using pastels. I also use oils but love the hands-on feeling of working with pastels. After retirement, I took classes in art and developed a joy of painting. Since then I've attended workshops and demos to learn but the Crescent Gallery’s Ten-2-One Artists group on Thursdays, is where I get encouragement and advice. Also, we've developed quite a friendship over the years.
